Sunday Question

How do you think this is all going to end with Upper Deck?

Be as funny and creative as you want with these answers. But you can also be serious.

  1. All big companies go through legal tribulations, but why does UD want to step their foot in the bucket 2 times in a row - with Yu-Gi-Oh and now Topps and the MLBPA?

  2. No idea, but I think the UD & MLBPA lawyers will have a good year.

  3. Upper Deck will probably have a slow, agonizing death. The other sports leagues won't look favorably on Upper Deck putting out unlicenced baseball cards and when they get the chance they'll revoke their licences.

  4. Michael Eisner will single-handly burn down UD headquarters.

  5. The company will weather through it. They have to. They are the only company that puts out hockey cards other than In The Game. That would be the end of my collecting.

I can't believe this all started over Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Ridiculous.

  6. I think they will make it through OK too. They take a ton of heat from collectors (at least on the forums/blogs) yet people are busting their product left and right. They will survive.
