I ended up back at the Target that has had them for days, and well there were still packs left. Did I buy any more? Maaaaayyyybeeee...... did I get any cool inserts?! Well, you'll have to wait and see.
Has anyone else been out looking for these things? Anyone locate a blaster? Though I am sure if someone found blasters I would have heard about it by now. Ohhh even better..... any local hobby shops got their boxes early?
Let me know if anything interesting has popped up in your town this way I have something to procrastinate studying for tomorrow and during the week ;)
I wasted $6 on three loose packs at Target today -- the closest I came to a card that I actually wanted was a History of the Game insert showing the Tokyo Dome from the Mets/Cubs 2000 season opener.
ReplyDeleteBlasters are out in some places -- White Sox cards found one. http://whitesoxcards.blogspot.com/2010/01/first-white-sox-card-of-2010.html
The retro parallels are back.
My local Target has had them for days but my local shop isn't getting them until Wednesday at the earliest.
ReplyDeleteNothing in the the vast wasteland where I live. But, yes, White Sox Cards found blasters, but it's not good news.
ReplyDeleteThere isn't a Target in my area -- I live in eastern Arizona where the towns are pretty far apart. The closest Target is Flagstaff (120 miles from my town). I checked the nearest Wal Mart (20 miles from my town) and there weren't any there.
ReplyDeleteThe Targets near my house and my work has the double-wide gravity feed box but no blasters. Atlanta Sports Cards is closed for the weekend because they are at the Tri-Star show in Houston. Nothing at Champion Sports cards as of last thursday.
ReplyDeleteNothing in Targets here in NE Ohio. The local card shop said to check back on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteA few Targets in Louisville have the gravity-feed boxes, but no blasters or cereal boxes yet!
ReplyDeleteI got packs at Target in Sandusky,Ohio. No blasters or rack packs.I've heard reports on both.No other stores in this area have anything.Went to a small card show at Sandusky Mall.No 2010 Topps but my oldest son and I split a 3200 ct. box of mixed baseball for $50.I have a new assortment now for trading to all my blogger friends!!(and some "bip" material!)
ReplyDeleteI went searching yesterday.
ReplyDeleteLocal Wal-Mart had nothing. Target had this biiig box of Topps 2010 but it wasn't open. I asked an employee if they where available to buy and she opened the box. I bought two packs.
Checked today in North Jersey (Paramus and Hackensack) zippo x2.
ReplyDeleteStopped by a target but didn't see any, and my shop said not till next week. Oh well, I've got a couple boxes on order anyway so hopefully I can get to ripping in another week, week and a half.
ReplyDeleteI went to Target again tonight hoping they got a shipment of blasters since I guess I'm off the wagon, but nothing. Stay tuned for some loot from last night.
