ITG Baseball on deck with its first release

I liked In The Game's hockeybrelease this year. Great patches and autographs, but just a little out of my price range.

ITG is coming out with its first baseball next year. Guys like Mike Trout, Christian Colon and Manny MachadoManny Machado are going to be part of.

2011 Heroes and Prospects Baseball Hits Series 1 - of there's gonna be more than one? - is ready to come ot in January (fingers crossed).

Here are a few photos:

What do you guys think?

  1. I am not a huge fan of prospect cards in baseball but these are some nice looking cards. I like the designs and may give this product a shot.

  2. I too asked the question about what others thought of this product after seeing it advertised in a sidebar on Facebook. I think the designs are nice, but I'll probably just stick to buying singles versus packs/boxes.

  3. For once the designs are above average, though not stellar. I hold out full evaluation until I see the backs. Misspellings, poor grammar, and repeated images from the front of the card each deduct a full point of awesomeness, which could take a 7/10 down to a 4/10 pretty fast.

Decent looking, but nothing inspiring or different, really. Looks like "Razor Plus", more or less.

Not sure why people see the need to flog yet even more prospect / minor league / junior college cards.

They never hold value, and if Just couldn't make a killing at it, what's different about these guys? (or Razor, or TriStar, for that matter?)

  4. This stuff will be collecting dust on shelves. No value/no license=fail.
