If you were a baseball player, what would your walk-up music be?
My first choice might be "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen.
Second, "Fat Bottomed Girls."
lol

R.O.C.K. in the USA by John Mellencamp
ReplyDeleteI think mine would be "Mein Teil" by Rammstein. This song would get the fans moshing around in the stands. Mein Teil translated to English means "My Part"
ReplyDeleteSymptom of the Universe by Black Sabbath
ReplyDeleteTubthumping - "I get knocked down, but I get up again.." Hahaha!!
ReplyDelete"Home of the Brave" by Naked Raygun
ReplyDeleteBurn it to the Ground- Nickelback
ReplyDeleteFree Love- Cage The Elephant.
2 of my favs.
Either or both the Justice League & JLU themes. Then on turn back the clock nights, various Superfriends themes. :D
ReplyDelete'White Rabbit' by Jefferson Airplane. Trevor Cahill warms up to that song & it's pretty badass.
ReplyDeleteI think it's be pretty funny to walk up to the plate w/ the Hawaii 5-0 theme.
Either Clawfinger - Biggest & The Best
ReplyDelete(although probably nobody
else knows it)
or
Cage The Elephant - Ain't No Rest For The Wicked
Ain't no rest for the wicked - is that the song on the Borderlands game?
ReplyDeleteOom Bop - Hanson
ReplyDeleteor
Welcome to the Jungle - GnR
Obviously, Oom Bop for the funny factor and GnR because they fucking rock.
Seriously.
The beginning of The Government Stole My Germs CD by The Orphans.

The video is really loud, btw.
That Wakefield card is terrible. Spitters are illegal.
Iron Man by Black Sabbath
ReplyDeleteSympathy for the Devil and specifically the Ooh Ooh parts.
ReplyDeleteI can think of a couple, so my walk up music may change often...
ReplyDeleteQuiet Storm, Mobb Deep
It's My Time, Fabolous
Winner, Drake
Everything About You, Ugly Kid Joe
Anthony, the oom bop would receive the type of reaction that Nick Johnson got when he came out to Miley Cyrus' Party in the USA.
ReplyDeleteI would rathet as the closer and warm up to the song "Save Me" by Remy Zero.
ReplyDeleteI can't think of a song at the moment. But I am impressed by your picks Sooz. Two Queen songs! You go girl.
ReplyDeleteThat's kind of a hard one. Don't want anything to be too cliche' or arrogant, but something fun, flattering, with a pinch of getting stoked.
ReplyDeleteEspecially since the song is only snippet--maybe a minute--the hookiness of the chorus or opening is key.
'Cause I'm approaching old-fart-dom, I'd tend toward 80s tunes, maybe something like:
Jukebox Hero - Foreigner
Major Tom (Coming Home) - Peter Schilling
Bust A Move - Young MC
Humpty Dance - Digital Underground
I could work with In the Ayer by Flo Rida, for something a little more current.
But I'd probably have to settle for I'm That Type of Guy from LL Cool Guy.
"I'm the type of guy who says puddin' is delicious."
Ha! Oops, I meant, "LL Cool J".
ReplyDeleteThough, LL Cool Guy would be a nice, under-budget wedding DJ handle...
Yes it is the song from Borderlands.
ReplyDeleteI could also go with "Fun For Me" by Moloko from the Batman and Robin Soundtrack. Yea, I don't know who Moloko is either...
Superman Tonight, Bon Jovi
ReplyDeleteI also use it for Brett Gardner in MLB THe Show!
:)
