Topps released four eTopps cards this week with Albert Pujols, Justin Smoak, Mike Leake and Ubaldo Jimenez.
One of the things about eTopps is that Topps could capitlize on the hype of any player. I'm a little surprised that Dallas Braden is not on the list.
Even with yesterday's perfect game, eTopps has had a revolving door for Athletics pitchers the past couple of years. I don't think they're eager to push out another Athletics card so early in the season.

I'd be interested in a Perfect Game / Argument with A-Rod eVent card, though. And maybe an A&G Milestone--that would be sweet. They did ones for Beurhle and Verlander's no-hitters 3 years ago, but not for Beurhle's perfecto last year.
In case you are all wondering, I only remembered to try and get the Pujols one at like 6pm.
ReplyDeleteNot having Braden is not a surprise. His pefect game only happened Sunday.
ReplyDeleteGive Etopps a couple of weeks and they might have him an an IPO.
BTW, I wait on etopps - usually cheaper to buy the card at auction after someone gets it in-hand than to participate in the IPO.
