I have a question

Since Sooz has tried her luck with this, now I shall as well. I want this Adam Lind card, but it has now floated to beyond reasonable limits. If anyone has hit the PowerBall or MegaMillions recently, please do a good deed and send this my way. If not, well the real reason for this blog is in the following paragraph.

I realized later on that the blogs titled Fantasy Baseball may not get the same reads as others if you aren't in that league. But, I am wondering if there are enough people to warrant running a second league. I can guarantee 1 or 2 people so far, and was wondering if anyone was looking to get into a cheap head to head league for $20?

Let me know, and I can set it up once I know that we would have enough people. I know LongFlyBall was interested, and my brother may jump in with it as well.

2010 Fantasy Baseball Draft

Just to give everyone a heads up in case you didn't know, the fantasy draft is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday March 14, 2010 at 6:45pm. If this is a problem for anyone please let me know and we can try and adjust the time. If you guys would prefer a later start that is fine also, just post it up as a comment.

I want to see where everyone is at and make sure we all agree most importantly on roster sizes, positions, and the majority of the scoring categories. 2010 Fantasy Baseball - Live

OK guys, the moment you have all been waiting for....... The league is open. Which means feel free to start bitching, I mean making suggestions on what you guys want and don't want. I tinkered with it a bit, but I know it still needs work so lets get this hammered out so we can start rolling.

I need an e-mail address from Mr. Scott and Peterson to invite you guys.

I have no idea what the paypal fee is for $20, so if anyone knows and wants to let me know that would be super. Then we can figure out what each person needs to send over.

I sneaked in a corner and middle infielder.... I'm sure that will get shot down, but I played in a league one year that had that and it was interesting. Check the stats and categories and we will adjust it as we get everyone in and we have all had a chance to read it over.

I told everyone that played last year that they would be given the option to vote for 10 teams or 12, so please leave your preference. If 12 is the vote then the 2 new additions are listed already.

I also would like to make sure that everyone is for head-to-head as opposed to roto style as well as if you would like daily roster changes along with daily add/drops, or weekly roster changes. There will be a cap on transactions per week because I think that it will this more competitive. If you guys feel differently I am all for hearing about it, so bring it on.

Also, I am thinking of doing the draft possibly the first weekend in March and whichever day is good for the majority will win.

Team names can be changed or remain the same for this season. I have a waiting list for the remainder of the spots. I am looking to cap it at 10-12 teams, head-to-head, limited roster moves per week (i.e. no daily pick ups and drops), and the rest will be discussed once full.

2010 Fantasy Baseball

I know it's early but pitchers and catchers report to Yankees camp on February 18th, so I am not that far off in thinking about baseball season. Many of you are probably all wrapped up in play-offs for football season, enjoying the excitement and all that jazz. I am excited that Baseball Tonight will be back on Monday night.

So what I am looking to find out is who is coming back for our fantasy league this year? There will be modifications to the scoring, and roster moves will be limited to x number of weekly transactions. There will be no adding and dropping daily because it got incredibly ridiculous last season, some may favor a weekly line-up but I think we may stick to daily line-ups.

Here are the teams from last season, you know who you are so let me know by team name if you are returning. The max teams will be 12 regardless of who is in or out. We would love to have you all back but if you can't let me know asap so I can let the other interested parties get in.
