I went to the local BC Sports, intending to spend $25. I was going to just buy a couple of hobby packs, but the guys in there know me so they laid it out for me. They know I like pulling auto's and gu's (who doesn't?), so he suggested taking a chance on one pack of something for the same price.
Needless to say, I'm a sucker. I went for a pack of Bowman's Best because the mini box was sealed, and figured there are 3 auto's per mini box, so I got a good shot. I picked my pack. I opened my pack. I didn't get an auto. I picked my pack again (yes, that's another $20). I opened it.... and nothing. I have bad luck. So now, there are 3 packs left, each with an auto, and there I am clutching my wallet for dear life.
I opened the last 3 packs. $100 bucks later. I would be lying if I said it wasn't exciting to open. I have never spent $20 on a pack, but I had a lot of fun opening this tiny, tiny, tiny box. I might be hooked on $20 packs... Here's what my $25 turned $100 trip got me.
